Who We Are
Dayspring Foundation Tanzania is a Tanzanian non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organisation committed to promoting diversity, equality and unity and advancing the rights, dignity and wellbeing of women, youth and children.
Established in 2019 and operationally launched in 2021, Dayspring Foundation works with communities, government institutions, development partners, civil society organisations, private sector actors and other stakeholders to address social, economic and environmental challenges affecting vulnerable and underserved communities.
The Foundation uses advocacy, community education, research, capacity building, legal empowerment, awareness raising, partnerships and community participation to create sustainable and inclusive solutions.

Our Specific Objectives
- Promote gender equality and eliminate discrimination against women, youth and children.
- Prevent and respond to Gender-Based Violence through education, awareness, advocacy and community empowerment.
- Promote access to justice and legal empowerment for vulnerable and underserved communities.
- Empower women and youth with knowledge, skills, leadership opportunities and economic opportunities.
- Promote Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, particularly among young people and vulnerable communities.
